The Diabetic Retinopathy (DR) Barometer Program is working towards a world where people living with diabetes are enabled to maintain their vision health as they age. Led by the IFA as the Secretariat, the Program is driven by the dialogue and pilot projects generated by three Communities of Practice: Patient Education and Empowerment, Guidelines and Protocols, and Coordinated Care.

Advocates for diabetes, vision health, and healthy ageing, as well as healthcare professionals who work with adults with diabetes are invited to join the DR Barometer Communities of Practice. By signing up, members gain access to interdisciplinary knowledge exchange and networking opportunities, online discussions, expert insights, and a library of resources like guidelines and education materials.
