The Montreal Declaration (.pdf file)

The Vienna International Plan of Action on Aging was adopted by the World Assembly on Aging held in Vienna, Austria from 26 July to 6 August 1982.

The Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination against Women (CEDAW) (web link)
Adopted in 1979 by the United Nations General Assembly, this is an international bill of rights for women. Currently under review (2010) are revisions concerning older women to be proposed and hopefully ratified at the next CEDAW session.
