Connect across sectors. Contribute to shared priorities. Help shape systems-level change for healthy ageing and longevity.
Longer lives are reshaping societies, economies, and communities worldwide.
No single sector can respond to the longevity transition alone. Progress depends on collaboration across regions, disciplines, and lived experience.
IFA membership brings individuals and organisations together to connect, contribute, and lead action on healthy ageing and longevity.
Why Join the IFA Network?
IFA membership connects you with a global network shaping policy, practice, research, advocacy, and innovation on healthy ageing and longevity.
As an IFA member, you can:
- Connect across sectors and regions
- Exchange knowledge, evidence, and practical insight
- Contribute expertise to shared priorities and policy discussions
- Build partnerships and collaborative initiatives
- Participate in convenings, dialogues, and opportunities for collective action
Membership is designed for people and organisations who want to do more than follow the conversation — they want to help shape it.
How We Act Together
IFA brings together diverse actors to connect evidence, experience, and action on healthy ageing and longevity.
As a global civil society organisation with general consultative status at the United Nations and official relations with the World Health Organization, IFA convenes trusted spaces for collaboration, dialogue, and collective action.
Members engage through four interconnected approaches:
1
Connect — Networks & Partnerships
Build relationships across sectors and regions, identify shared priorities, and open pathways for collaboration.
2
Convene — Strategic & Catalytic Spaces
Participate in trusted spaces — including Global Cafés, expert dialogues, and the IFA Global Conference on Ageing — that connect knowledge, lived experience, and policy.
3
Learn — Evidence & Foresight
Access and contribute to evidence, foresight, and practical insights that inform decision-making and action.
4
Influence — Advocacy & Policy
Help inform advocacy and policy engagement through member insight, evidence, and collective expertise.
Choose Your Pathway: Connect, Contribute, Lead
IFA membership is designed as a pathway for engagement.Members can connect with the network, contribute expertise and insight, and — at higher organisational levels — help lead strategic initiatives that support systems-level change.
Each level builds on the previous one, creating deeper opportunities for participation, collaboration, and leadership.
