Join the IFA Network
Longer lives are reshaping societies, economies, and communities in every region of the world.
No single organisation, sector, or discipline can respond to the longevity transition alone. Progress depends on collaboration—across sectors, regions, and areas of expertise.
That is why membership matters.
Through the International Federation on Ageing (IFA), members connect insight, experience, and action—working together to shape policy, strengthen systems, and advance healthy ageing and longevity.
Why Join the IFA Network?
Addressing population ageing requires more than isolated efforts. It demands collaboration across sectors, regions, and disciplines. As part of the IFA Network, you join a global community working to shape policy, strengthen systems, and advance healthy ageing and longevity.
IFA members contribute to and benefit from a platform that enables:
-
Collective learning and shared intelligence
-
Cross-sector collaboration and partnerships
-
Evidence-informed advocacy
-
Coordinated influence in global and regional policy spaces
-
Opportunities to contribute to shared priorities and acti
Membership enables both contribution and access—connecting insight, practice, and influence.
How We Act Together
IFA is a global civil society organisation with general consultative status at the United Nations and official relations with the World Health Organization. As a neutral, credible convener, we bring together diverse actors to connect insight, evidence, and action.
We work through four interconnected approaches:
1
Connect — Networks & Partnerships
We connect leaders and organisations across sectors and regions to surface shared priorities, build relationships, and enable coordinated action.
2
Convene — Strategic & Catalytic Spaces
Through Global Cafés, the Global Conference on Ageing, and expert dialogues, we create trusted spaces that link knowledge, lived experience, and policy.
3
Learn — Evidence & Foresight
We curate and translate evidence into practical insights—through briefs, foresight, and thought leadership—to inform decision-making and action.
4
Influence — Advocacy & Policy
We engage in multilateral and global platforms to shape inclusive policies and systems, amplifying member insights through a credible, collective voice.
