Work & Learning Opportunities

At the IFA, our work is driven by collaboration, insight, and global engagement. We offer opportunities for individuals at different stages of their careers to contribute to advancing healthy ageing and longevity through learning, volunteering, and professional roles. 

Student Placements

The Student Placement program at IFA is open to graduate-level students working in areas related to population ageing and longevity for a period between three months to one year. IFA provides a supportive and respectful learning environment for students to gain exposure to international processes, and develop skills in a dynamic, mission-driven environment.  

The scope of the placement is directly related to the successful applicant’s experience and interests. Activities may include environmental scans, information analysis, knowledge mobilization and communications, multimedia projects, support writing internal and external reports, and administrative responsibilities. It is ideal for students seeking to gain practical experiences as part of an accredited program. 

Placements are accepted on a rolling basis. Interested applicants are invited to submit a cover letter with expression of interest, resume or curriculum vitae, and a writing sample to hr@ifa.ngo. 

Volunteer & Contribute Your Expertise 

IFA welcomes engagement with experienced leaders, experts, and practitioners bringing expertise that complements and extends IFA’s capabilities. Opportunities may include contributing to the development of research papers, policy briefs, and analytical work, providing specialist insight across priority areas such as care systems, longevity economies, and digital transformation, or supporting multilateral engagement.
