Jessilyn Forigo is a strategic leader and relationship builder with more than 20 years of experience advancing mission-driven initiatives across the nonprofit, post-secondary, and public sectors. She brings a unique blend of entrepreneurial vision and hands-on experience in fundraising, stakeholder engagement, and large-scale event strategy to her role as Senior Director, Global Partnerships and Development at the International Federation on Ageing (IFA).
At IFA, Jessilyn is guiding a pivotal phase of growth—developing the organization’s first philanthropic roadmap, leading global sponsorship efforts for international convenings, and contributing to the revitalization of its membership model. Her work lays the foundation for long-term, diversified revenue streams and deepens IFA’s global partnerships and positioning.
Over the past two decades, Jessilyn has led communications and development strategy for community organizations, advised nonprofit leaders on capacity-building and revenue generation, and worked within a leading Canadian research university to enhance stakeholder engagement and external partnerships. Her experience includes designing major events, guiding rebranding efforts, building sponsorship portfolios, and shaping narratives that connect people to purpose.
She holds a Bachelor of Communications from Mount Royal University and is a Certified Management Consultant (CMC), an internationally recognized designation for excellence in strategic advisory. Known for her clarity, creativity, and collaborative approach, Jessilyn brings both vision and execution to every initiative she leads.
