A strategic philanthropy leader with over a decade of experience, Paola specializes in building integrated funding models that move beyond traditional approaches—unlocking multi-sector investment, strengthening long-term partnerships, and positioning organizations for sustainable growth and global impact. Her work focuses on translating complex priorities into compelling investment opportunities that mobilize capital, collaboration, and innovation.
Prior to joining IFA, Paola served as National Director of Philanthropy at Substance (formerly Drug Free Kids Canada), leading national strategies to expand youth mental health and substance use prevention initiatives. Her earlier roles with the Rideau Hall Foundation, Equal Voice, and the Equality Fund reflect a consistent focus on advancing equity, strengthening partnerships, and mobilizing resources in support of systemic change.
Known for her ability to connect vision with execution, Paola builds partnerships that not only fund programs, but shape systems, influence agendas, and drive lasting impact. She is currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Modern Languages from Universidad Metropolitana.
