Salsabila Ahmed
Salsabila has recently started the role of Project and Policy Coordinator at the International Federation on Ageing (IFA) in April 2024.
She holds an Honours Bachelor of Science from the University of Toronto, where she specialized in Psychology and Human Biology. She is a current graduate student pursuing a Master of Public Health (MPH) at Boston University, focusing on health equity measures. Additionally, she is certified in Clinical Research from the Michener Institute of Education at UHN.
Throughout her career, Salsabila has been involved in projects concerning vaccine uptake proposals in older populations and clinical research studies centered on ovarian and endometrial cancers. Her professional and academic endeavors have given her a comprehensive insight into public health reform, and health policy research. She is passionate about advancing public health initiatives and addressing social determinants of health, to enhance better outcomes for vulnerable populations.
Beyond her professional pursuits, Salsabila enjoys immersing herself in diverse cultures through travel and expressing her creativity through photography.
