What is the Global Café?

At the IFA, we believe in the power of dialogue to drive meaningful change. The Global Café Series is our monthly virtual convening—an open and welcoming space where leaders, practitioners, and thinkers from across sectors and regions come together to exchange insights, challenge perspectives, and explore solutions to the most pressing issues in healthy ageing and longevity.

Through open dialogue, the Global Café brings together diverse voices from policy, research, civil society, and industry to explore emerging trends and real-world challenges shaping ageing societies. It is a space for shared learning and collective thinking, where global perspectives meet practical insight, and where ideas spark collaboration and help influence policy and practice.

Upcoming Global Café

From April to June 2026, IFA is hosting a special three-part Global Café Series exploring how strategic investments in people, systems, and environments can unlock the full potential of longer lives.

As demographic shifts reshape economies, labour markets, and health systems worldwide, this series brings together leaders across policy, finance, and innovation to examine where investment can drive healthier, more resilient, and more productive societies.

The series opened with a focus on the critical role of investing in women as a driver of healthier societies, stronger communities, and long-term economic prosperity. Upcoming sessions will explore the future of work, the longevity economy, and the intersection of planetary health and resilience.
