The Joint Distribution Committee (‘JDC’ or ‘the Joint’) partners with the Government of Israel to promote and enforce Aging in Place in Israel. This approach aims to preserve the ability to live independently, safely and comfortably in one’s own home in the community, regardless of age, income or functional ability.
Since 1969, the Joint has developed hundreds of socially diverse models to enable older adults to age at home within the community, being the key propeller for the new nursing law.
