Social solidarity forms one of the most important requirements for volunteerism and is part of our identity as Kuwaitis, having descended from forebears who built and developed our society since the establishment of this generous country by participating through volunteer work in this development. In furtherance of our heritage of social responsibility, the Khair Al-Kuwait Charity Foundation was established in 2007 by Ministerial Resolution 266 as a non-profit foundation devoted to the concept of volunteerism. Our members are volunteers who cooperate with governmental and non-governmental organizations (NGOs) to deploy financial and moral support to the sectors of society most in need of increased assistance due to their prevailing negative social conditions. We do this by effecting humanitarian works and succeeding in projects that provide positive impacts on society.
