Palestinian Center for Communication and Development Strategies (PCCDS) is a Palestinian non-profit NGO founded in Hebron in 2008 and officially registered in 2009, by a group of young activists working in fields of development and human rights. It aims at protecting the rights of the elderly socially, economically, and healthily, stopping the violations in their rights that go back on economic and social reasons; so that they can practice their right to live a healthy, wealthy, safe life. Our work is based on respecting all international conventions of human rights, Resolution 1325, the Goals of the Sustainable Development Plan 20 – 30, and Agenda 21.
Vision:
A free Palestinian society in which the values of justice and equality are inherent and in which public freedom and elderly rights are respected to become part of its cultural and social fabric.
Values:
Palestinian Center for Communication and Development Strategies adopts and implements a set of its own values that are inherent in its programs and activities which are credibility, integrity, accountability, and tolerance. PCCDS adheres to these values, which are translated into the Code of Professional Conduct.
