Survey on the Lived Experiences of Older People at the Midpoint of the Decade
Are you aged 60 or over?
We want to hear from you!
The International Federation on Ageing (IFA) is inviting older adults around the world to take part in a global survey to understand their lived experiences as an older person, including their thoughts and beliefs surrounding their age, their perceived role in society, perspectives on the environments in which they live and their access to health and social services.
This survey is in contribution to the United Nations Decade of Healthy Ageing 2021-2030 (also known as the ‘Decade’), a concerted action from governments, non-government, private sector, media and older people themselves to prioritize healthy ageing and ensure that older people can fulfil their potential in dignity and equality.
2025 marks the midpoint of the Decade, marking an opportunity to hear from older people on their lives, health and wellbeing and understand progress on key actions areas. Your input will help inform global efforts to improve the environments in which older people live, access to comprehensive care, and ensure older people are supported to live with dignity, purpose and choice.
This survey is available in English, French, Chinese, Russian, Arabic, and Spanish. Please select your preferred language to begin.
