Registration Now Open for the IFA Copenhagen Summit on Cognitive Reserve

Growing evidence suggests that throughout the life course, brain health and cognitive function can be promoted and maintained – a concept known as ‘cognitive reserve’.  With ten to twenty percent of today’s older people worldwide experiencing cognitive impairment, a fact which is expected to continue to grow as the global population continues to age, now is the time to transform the science of cognitive reserve into policy and good practice for all ages.

The International Federation on Ageing (IFA) in partnership with DaneAge is proud to announce the IFA Copenhagen Summit on Cognitive Reserve, a global forum to share successful policies and best practices that encourage a life course approach to brain health.

On 24-25 October 2019 in Copenhagen, Denmark, experts in the fields of public health, policy, healthy ageing and cognitive health will meet to deliberate how to ensure that cognitive reserve is embedded within a life course approach to policy and practice.

Program, registration, sponsorship opportunities and additional logistic information is available on the Copenhagen Summit on Cognitive Reserve website.  The IFA looks forward to welcoming you to Copenhagen in October!
