Now Accepting Expressions of Interest: Join the IFA Board of Directors!

In accordance with the corporation bylaws expressions of interest are called from full IFA members to be considered for the slate of candidates for elections to the Board of Directors.

The IFA is an international NGO that drives the agenda of the world’s population ageing, so every older person can live their life to the fullest in a society that respects their past, present and future contributions. IFA’s vision, “A world of healthy older people whose rights and choices are both protected and respected,” is aspired to through the primary goal of being the global point of connection for experts and expertise to help influence and shape age-related policy.

We believe that members—including governments, NGOs, industry, and individuals—form strong networks to help shape and influence policy and good practices, and we look forward to your interest by the 11th of October 2024.

To be eligible to submit an expression of interest or stand for election, you must first be a full member of the International Federation on Ageing (IFA). Full members have the privilege to make nominations and participate in the election process. If you are not yet a member, consider joining us to take part in shaping the future of ageing and making a meaningful impact.
