Xavier Rodrigues

 Xavier recently joined the International Federation on Ageing (IFA) as Conference and Events Coordinator in September 2024, bringing over 12 years of experience in conference and event management within membership-based, non-profit federations. His expertise lies in end-to-end event planning, member engagement, and strategic communication. Xavier holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, a Postgraduate Diploma in Business Management, and a Postgraduate Diploma in Industrial Relations & Personnel Management from the Maharaja Sayajirao University in India. 

A seasoned events professional, Xavier has successfully coordinated over 250 corporate events and international business meetings across 10 countries in Asia, Africa, and Europe. He has adeptly managed national and international seminars, workshops, webinars, and conferences on a wide array of topics, showcasing his capability to handle complex event logistics and deliver impactful outcomes. Currently, Xavier is further enhancing his expertise by pursuing the Certified Meeting Professional certification from the Events Industry Council. 

Xavier is keen on networking and is always eager to expand his professional connections. Beyond his professional role, he enjoys spending quality time with family, reading, watching thriller movies, traveling, and gardening (he has a green thumb). He has visited 12 countries and dreams of traveling to every country in the world someday. Xavier is excited to leverage his diverse skill set and extensive experience to make a meaningful impact at the IFA.
