The Value of Volunteering
This week (April 15 – 21, 2018) is National Volunteer Week in Canada, with the theme “Celebrate the Value of Volunteering – building confidence, competence, connections and community”.
National Volunteer Week is an occasion to applaud the millions of volunteers here and abroad who dedicate their time and meaningfully contribute to their communities.
The International Federation on Ageing (IFA) is thrilled to have a dedicated group of volunteers assisting at the 14th Global Conference on Ageing in Toronto, and the IFA is already aware of the great contributions these volunteers will make to this important event.
The IFA is still looking for enthusiastic, committed individuals with a keen interest in the ageing population to expand our volunteer base. If you are interested in applying to be a 14th Global Conference on Ageing volunteer, click here or contact Ms Tarah McMaster (tmcmaster@ifa-fiv.org).
